WHICH COMMUNITIES SHOULD I JOIN?
If you're new to podcasting, it might be a good idea to join communities to soak up knowledge, share tips, network and apply for awards. From LinkedIn to Google Plus, Apple and Facebook, there's lots of great online communities out there. Here are a few links to get you started with their own lists and etiquette tips.

The Podcast Movement
There's a relatively new organization with some buzz and awards show, The "Podcast Movement" , which has its own Hall of Fame. Here's an article about the Podcast Movement. And here's a podcast with one of its founders on the recent growth of podcasting.
An exhaustive newsletter called "Hot Pod" is written by Nick Quah. Lots of rambling information every week.
Other Organizations and Awards
The "Media Revolution", which likes podcasts too, will be meeting in Las Vegas this year. Here's a podcast competition for students, with some guidelines, which can be really good guideposts for your own podcast. Here's one geared for advertisers it seems ...
