Struggle and Hope: The Crown Jewel, Boley Oklahoma

Very proud of the latest minidoc I did with Kari Barber about Oklahoma's surviving all-black towns and the freed slaves and their descendants who built them while fleeing oppression and persecution. We are working on minidocs while also preparing a full-length documentary, Struggle and Hope. This short video is packed with wisdom, history and lively rural life. It is people's history we too often have ignored and missed out on.
