Boley's Parade: Oklahoma's All-Black Towns


The latest mini-documentary as part of the Struggle and Hope interactive, web, people's history project I've been working on about Oklahoma's all-black towns features the annual Memorial Day rodeo parade in Boley. It's a montage of bikers, horse riders, dancers, organizers, drivers of vintage cars and onlookers, all wrapped into a living, vibrant and unique culture, built on self-reliance and determination.
