In all the reporting that's been done about Sudan's referendum, I've found very little has been done on what is happening in what will become Sudan's new south ...
This includes Blue Nile and Southern Kordofan where so-called public consultations are taking place. There are many opponents to Khartoum in these areas, both political and armed, while pro-Khartoum nomads pass through in large numbers.
Yesterday, I explored the topic in a radio report for Voice of America.
