VOA Profiles in Courage, III

This one is about Video Journalist Zuma Palacio who has survived sharks and drug cartels in Colombia. She also does pottery (on a white carpet) and kayaks (on a kayak she built herself with African wood), making her an impressive well-rounded person. She talks about the paradise in Colombia, but as a journalist she had to flee. Interestingly, she puts environmental journalism in the perspective of the greater good and the most important story there is to save the planet. She also does underwater photography and film making which takes lots of courage, initiave and resources.
